There is a self-service Woolsery Milk which is open 24 hours a day. This is very handy and the milk is so fresh as it is owned by the local farmer so you can imagine from the table is literally minutes. You can bring your own bottle or buy one from the milk machine.

It is just a 15-minutes drive to Westward Ho! It is the only place in the UK to boast an exclamation mark as part of its name. There are many nice restaurants where you can enjoy your meal on a beautiful beach. The scene is one of breathtaking beauty.

It is a good choice to have a safari in Northam Burrows Country Park to see the wild sheep and animals.

Within walking distance of Buck’s Mills Beach, there are natural waterfalls..as well as South West Coastal Path walks to popular destinations such as Clovelly and Peppercombe Beach. It is an ideal place for outdoor activities and hiking.

️Clovelly is one of the most beautiful village in the UK. This privately owned Harbour village really is a must see as the village dates back to at least 1738 but a word of caution to walkway down and back up is very steep. However there is a Landrover Service running both ways. If you are hiking lover, You can hiking to clovelly from our chalet. You can start from Nisa grocery shop in the Park. Along SW coastal path, then turn right to the hobby drive walk. It takes 1.5 hours. It is one of the best ways to appreciate the stunning setting of Clovelly. It gives magnificent glimpses of the harbour and Bideford Bay walking with wild deers.

Peppercombe Beach. (Hiking to Peppercombe Beach, it is suggested to drive and park at Bucks Mill or alternatively there is a small lay-by on the A39 just before Horns Cross, with space for about 5-6 cars)
